Women in Engineering UBC is a student-led, faculty-supported organization that strives to foster and promote gender diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of engineering. The organization seeks to build an equitable environment that encourages the celebration and development of women within the UBC Engineering community. As engineering has grown, diversified, and progressed, and by the nature of one of our central tenants - inclusion, WiE has evolved to advocate for not just women, but all of the minority identities that may intersect one’s identity as a woman.
