Community Engagement Committee

The Community Engagement Committee aims to create supportive networks for women in engineering and their supporters while actively promoting diversity and equity through engagement within the community. While raising awareness for WiE’s mission and values, this committee also fosters a feeling of companionship and support between all Women in Engineering (WiE) members and the engineering student body. This is done through social events and initiatives such as paint nights, a Gingerbread Decorating contest, a Galentine’s social event, and much more. These events offer WiE members a welcoming space to connect and have fun. This committee will work collaboratively with other WiE committees on a volunteer basis to encourage cross-collaboration and community within WiE.
